Siddhartha's hard task of becoming Enlightened now has no one to follow but himself. This gives Siddhartha a give he needed to receive. No long is Govinda follow him but someone else, he now only has himself. Siddhartha at first feels that he is a rock and a hard place, but later on realize this is what he really needed. Siddhartha needs to look at himself for guidance rather teachers.
